It was on a clear night, with the sky studded with the twinkling points of stars, that I was born. My steel, bent and folded on itself, has created a special metallic structure, a laminated steel with exceptional properties. Discreet after hand polishing, the characteristic patterns that appear on my surface underline my true hamon. Clay tempering has given me a different hardness on my razor-sharp edge and my mune. Misty waves run along my tapered curve.
My mount was chosen as a reminder of my birth. The master blacksmith who gave me life wanted the vault of heaven to be reflected not only on the mirror of my steel, but also on my saya. Discreet and sparkling, the stars shine in the firmament like the souls of the Ancients in our minds. I am destined to continue teaching and practicing the art of the sword.
