Keiryō, iaïtō aluminum blade (軽量 lightweight)
Unsharpened Japanese training sword for the practice of iaïdō (居合道 the art of drawing the sword), aluminum blade, supplied with a black fabric protective cover
I wasn't forged. The material from which I'm made, aluminum, is the second most widely used metal in today's industry. Very light, with excellent resistance to corrosion, this metal allows users to train without the risk of fatigue or tendonitis.
I've been designed by exercisers, for exercisers. Sober and practical, my frame is inspired by Miyamoto Musashi's katana (宮本 武蔵). My vocation is to help Japanese martial arts practitioners master the art of drawing the sword and striking (cut or thrust) in a single gesture, before the opponent.
