I'm a miniature replica, but don't let my size fool you. Like the real Excalibur, I was given to King Arthur of Brittany by the Lady of the Lake. Legend has it that the sword can cut through any material. The same is true of me, as is my scabbard, which protects whoever uses it.
I can adorn a desk, be used to open missives or mark a page in an ancient book, but my primary vocation is symbolic. I protect and accompany the person I serve in the highest quest of all, that of the Grail. For legends are nothing more than pieces of history, magnified to better convey the symbols they convey.
