Medieval Crusader knight's sword

Striking sword, pommel with trefoil cross and laced brown leather scabbard, slant carry

I remember.
I remember the battlefields, the rain that fell and the wind that blew. I remember the neighing of horses and the smell of earth.
I was there. And for a while, I'm still there.
Always ready to serve, to defend, to protect. I swore it. I engraved it on my pommel. Just a cross, my conviction, my promise.
Today, safe in my laced, protective scabbard, I wait. I'm waiting for the one who can revive me, rekindle the faith that vibrates within me, so that I can once again feel the blades clash and hear the sound of steel.
I'm ready.

I'm a blacksmith, proud of my trade

Perceived as strange and mysterious, even diabolical, since he transforms the elements with fire, the blacksmith is an essential figure to whom knights and all fighters owe much of their equipment.

Legislation

Since September 6, 2013, new legal provisions stemming from the March 6, 2012 law have come into force. These new rules have strengthened criminal penalties against weapons offenders and introduced a new classification.
Swords, daggers and knives are now classified in category D. The purchase and possession of these weapons is unrestricted. In principle, they may not be carried or transported without legitimate reason. If transported, the weapon must not be "directly" usable. It must be securely packed in a case or container, preferably with a padlock or other protective system.
