I've just received the long-awaited katana for my daughter, who has just passed her exam. She's been wanting one for so long.
My research led me to Terressens.
This katana caught my eye, and at a very attractive price.
First of all the handling of my order was very very fast, ordered in the evening, the next morning the seller had already taken into account my request for engraving and had already made me a great offer: by the afternoon, the katana had already been engraved, and very nicely too, I had the proof in the form of a photo even before the shipment, which took place immediately.
I received it 3 days later, 5 days after my order.
Really great follow-up and good advice.
That said, when I received it, I found the engraving superb, but I'd like to make a comment about the katana. The printing or gluing of the carp is grainy, there's a lack of varnish in one place and the bronze-colored ring isn't perfect, there are still some big burrs. I had to file it down, and it showed big white marks. I sponged it down with a slightly damp sponge, which is better but not perfect.
So if you want a decorative katana to please a small budget it remains a very good gift idea, they are good advice, tracking is top notch and delivery is very fast.
But note that there are imperfections.
I'm still happy with my order, I'll manage to remove the flaws because I'm good at it and it will be almost perfect.
