The Walking Dead: synopsis

" The Walking Dead ", television series (2010 - in production) and video game (2016)

The story follows Rick Grimes (played by Andrew Lincoln), deputy sheriff of Kings County, Georgia. He awakens from a coma lasting several weeks to discover that the population has been ravaged by an unknown post-apocalyptic epidemic that transforms human beings into the undead, known as "lurkers". After being reunited with his family, he soon becomes the leader of a group of Atlanta survivors. They have to survive in a post-apocalyptic world, battling lurkers and other groups of survivors, some even more dangerous than the lurkers themselves. Together, they struggle to cope with an unrecognizable world as they journey through the American Deep South.
On October 5, 2019, just before the premiere of the tenth season, the series was renewed for an eleventh season scheduled to start on October 5, 2020.

La Triquètre

The triquetra is derived from the Latin words " tri- " (three) and " quetrus " (with corners). It's made up of three vesicae piscis (intersection of two circles of the same diameter, the center of each of which is part of the circumference of the other). It may be accompanied by an inner or outer circle. It represents groups of three objects or three people.

Present in Celtic art (notably in the " Book of Kells "), it is often integrated into more complex interlacing patterns. Taken up by Christians to symbolize the Trinity (Father, Son and Holy Spirit), it is used today to represent, for example, Spirit, Body and Soul.

Michonne's katana features several triangles: on the pommel (Kashira 頭), the parting ring (Fushi 縁), the hilt (Tsuba 鍔). On the blade, the engraved symbol is ternary but without being a triqueter. It consists of three arcs of a circle (crescent moons) stacked one on top of the other (they are not intersecting). It's more of a "tribal" symbol.

Katanas, swords, daggers and knives are now classified in category D. The purchase and possession of these weapons are unrestricted. In principle, they may not be carried or transported without legitimate reason. If transported, the weapon must not be "directly" usable. It must be securely packed in a case or container, preferably with a padlock or other protective system.
