After centuries of forgetfulness and silence, I want to shine, to show the world what I believe in. I want to shine, to display my gold, my coat of arms, my cross and my seal.
As a tribute to those who wore them before me. Those who dared to brandish them. Those who dreamed of a better world where everyone's worth was measured by their skills, not their name.
I'm here now.

Commandery-hubs: Templar logistics from the West to Acre and Cyprus

Contrary to the "treasure" myth, the strength of the Knights Templar lay in their network of farms, vineyards, mills, sheepfolds and stables run by brothers and employees. The commanderies collected rents and products, maintained the mounts (saddles, shoes, harnesses) thanks to the farriery, and then chartered men, beasts and goods to the Orient. Regulatory texts place horses under the authority of the marshal, while farriers are explicitly mentioned among sergeants. On the seaside, the Order relied on coastal houses and ports to organize convoys; until 1291, these flows were concentrated in Acre, then Cyprus served as a strategic relay point. In Europe, the Knights Templar recomposed their holdings to better manage crops and transport: patiently optimized logistics that, more than a treasure, fueled warfare and garrisons.
