I served several Templar knights in Europe and in the Holy Land. I've traveled the pilgrimage routes and the roads the Crusaders took to reach Jerusalem. I experienced many battles, often victorious, sometimes disastrous. For the outcome of wars and crusades is determined not only by the strength, courage and mastery of the combatants. Arrangements, betrayals, strategic errors or simply diplomatic agreements can influence the outcome of a well-considered military action.
I was forged in the Holy Land, near Jerusalem. The master blacksmith accompanied the Christian armies and equipped the Templars. I was born from a special steel that is said to have singular, even magical virtues. Born from the sky, buried in the desert sand, forged by Man, the iron that constitutes me represents the four elements.

It's not uncommon enough to see men fighting a bodily enemy with the strength of the body alone for me to be surprised; on the other hand, waging war against vice and the devil with the strength of the soul alone isn't something as extraordinary as it is commendable either - the world is full of monks who fight these battles ; But what, for me, is as admirable as it is obviously rare, is to see both things combined, the same man bravely hanging his double sword at his side and nobly girding his flanks with his double harness at the same time. The soldier who simultaneously clothes his soul with the breastplate of faith and his body with a breastplate of iron, cannot fail to be fearless and perfectly secure; for, under his double armor, he fears neither man nor devil. Swords, daggers and knives are now classified in category D. The purchase and possession of these weapons is unrestricted. In principle, they may not be carried or transported without legitimate reason. If transported, the weapon must not be "directly" usable. It must be securely packed in a case or container, preferably with a padlock or other protective system.
