"Vicit semper" (always victorious) medieval forged sword

Forged medieval sword XIIᵗʰ / XIIIᵗʰ century, double-throated spring-effect blade, dark red wood and leather scabbard with leather belt

I've travelled many roads. I crossed forests, sometimes dark, sometimes enchanted. I have taken the lives of all who stood before me. I never lost a battle. My master preferred to disappear. He entrusted me to his comrade-in-arms to pursue his inner quest, far from the turpitudes of the world.
From generation to generation, I've been passed down as a witness to the unfailing friendship between the two knights. My story has given rise to many legends. Indeed, having lost no battle, I became a symbol of invincibility as well as loyalty. And isn't loyalty the real key? You be the judge...

"The Sword and the Scimitar: Fourteen centuries of wars between Islam and the West", Raymond Ibrahim

The West and Islam, sword and scimitar, have been in conflict since the middle of the VIIᵗʰ century. Drawing on original Arab and Greek sources, as well as on Arab and European historians, the great historian Raymond Ibrahim vividly brings to life the decisive battles waged by the Jihad since those ancient times, the conquest of the Mediterranean shores, the battle of Tours, the capture of Constantinople and the siege of Vienna. He shows how these eternal conflicts reflect the cultural divide between Islam and the West. Raymond Ibrahim is an American academic specializing in the Middle East and Islam, and a member of several think tanks. His book, published by Hachette in the United States in 2018, has had extensive press and great success.
