Legendary and magical, I am the sword of Arthur, King of the Bretons. I made him invincible, able to slice through all materials, my scabbard protecting him from all injury. Given to me by the First Lady of the Lake, I was betrayed by the man I served. Arthur had made him a promise... which he did not keep.
According to legend, Merlin asked Arthur: "Which is more precious? The sword or the scabbard? Arthur replied: "The sword, certainly". But Merlin replied: "Wrong, it's the scabbard, for as long as you have it, your enemies cannot kill you". True power is not always in what we take for granted.
