The Bamboo Grove in the Cévennes La bambouseraie en Cévennes (also known as bambouseraie d'Anduze or bambouseraie de Prafrance) is an exotic garden located in Générargues in the Gard department. Unique in Europe for its size, the bamboo plantation in the Cévennes is located on a 34-hectare estate (the park, the only part open to the public, covers 15 hectares) 11 km south-west of Alès and 2 km north of Anduze. It contains bamboos planted in 1856 by Eugène Mazel.
